Bugbrooke Cricket Club had another enjoyable season in 2008 despite the weather with cricket played throughout the summer with two league sides, a Sunday side, Under 11, Under 12, Under 15 sides as well as interclub and fun days taking place.
After their Division 7 league win in 2006 the 1sts again maintained Division 6 status in 2008.
The 2nds had a successful year with promotion from Division 12 back to Division 11 at the first time of asking.
Excellent work continues with the junior section of the club with well attended practice nights and numerous matches throughout the summer.
Off the field the development of the ground progresses with continued investment of time into the pitch and money into fencing.
The social side of the club continues to do well with a club barbeque, Vice presidents day, junior club days and the annual dinner.
The Doc White Lounge opens regularly throughout the summer doing an excellent trade during and after games.
